The Panthers defeated Atlanta 68-32 and Hallsville 69-53 to take 2nd Place in the Spring Hill Holiday Hoopfest.  Senior Brandon Robbins was named to the All-Tournament team.

Scrimmage versus Marshall - B.Y.O.C.

Just a reminder that our scrimmage versus Marshall will begin at 10 AM, Saturday morning in the SH Primary Gym.  Please make sure to Bring Your Own Chair to sit in when you come up to the gym.

Marshall Scrimmage Moved to Saturday

Our scrimmage versus Marshall HS has been moved to Saturday, November 12th at 10 AM in the SH Primary Gym.  The JV will begin at 10, and the Varsity will immediately follow. 

Scrimmage @ Longview HS

The 9/JV/V teams will scrimmage at Longview on Tuesday, Nov. 8th beginning at 3:50 PM.  The 9th grade portion of the scrimmage will be first, followed by the JV, and then the Varsity will scrimmage. 

High School Practice Schedule (11/7-11/12)

*9/JV/V report, ready to practice, at 7:30 AM (1st period athletics) in JH gym unless given different instructions.

Monday, 11/7 - Football players report to Coach Poe for exit meetings during athletics period; JV/V will practice after school at 4:30 PM in the old JH gym; 9th will practice at 6:45 PM in the JH gym

Tuesday, 11/8 - 9/JV/V scrimmage @ Lobo Coliseum (start time to be announced and posted on Monday, 11/7)

Wednesday, 11/9 - 9th grade will practice at 6:30 AM in the JH gym; JV/V will practice at 5:30 PM in the JH gym

Thursday, 11/10 - 9th grade will practice at 6:30 AM in the JH gym; JV/V will scrimmage Marshall at home in the JH gym (start time to be announced and posted in the coming days) 

Friday, 11/11 - 9th grade will practice at 6:30 AM in the old JH gym; JV/V will just have their first period workout during athletics period; no practice in the evening (Volleyball Regionals)

Saturday 11/12 - No V practice (Volleyball Regionals)

Nov. 10th Scrimmage

We recently confirmed our scrimmage against Marshall for Thursday, November 10th at home.  The Varsity and Junior Varsity teams will be the only teams playing.  Date and gym assignments to come!

And so it begins....

The 2011-12 season is finally here!  The guys have brought excellent effort to each of our practices thus far; and we are VERY excited about the upcoming schedule.  Our first scrimmage will be on Nov. 8th at Longview High School; and our season opener will Nov. 19th at home.  We look forward to keeping you updated on Spring Hill Basketball!
